By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from Go Smile Team, you agree to the following terms and conditions. We use Modento and RingCentral to send and receive text messages on behalf of our practice.
Consent to Receive SMS Messages
By opting in to our SMS program, you consent to receive text messages from Go Smile Team at the mobile number you provided. Your consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from our dental practice.
Types of Messages
You may receive text messages related to:
- Appointment reminders and confirmations
- Appointment scheduling and rescheduling
- Recall and recare reminders
- Treatment follow-up communications
- Office announcements (closures, schedule changes)
- Billing and payment reminders
- Patient satisfaction surveys
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your appointment schedule and interactions with our practice. You may receive multiple messages per month, typically including:
- Appointment reminders (1-3 messages per scheduled appointment)
- Recall reminders (1-2 messages when you’re due for a visit)
- Occasional practice updates
Opting Out
To stop receiving text messages at any time:
Reply STOP to any message you receive from us.
You will receive a one-time confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt back in. Opting out of SMS will not affect your ability to receive dental care from our practice.

Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data rates apply to any messages you send or receive. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your text messaging plan. Go Smile Team is not responsible for any charges incurred from your mobile carrier.
Supported Carriers
Our SMS service supports most major U.S. wireless carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Your mobile phone number and the content of text messages will be kept confidential. We will not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your information may be shared with our SMS service providers (Modento and RingCentral) solely for the purpose of delivering messages on our behalf. Your information is used solely for the purposes described in these terms and our Privacy Policy.
Please note that SMS messages are not encrypted, and there is a risk that messages could be accessed by unauthorized parties. We recommend not including sensitive health information in your text message replies.
Protected Health Information
Text messages may contain limited information about your dental appointments. By opting in, you acknowledge that:
- Appointment reminder messages may include the date, time, and general nature of your appointment
- Messages are sent to the phone number you provided and may be viewed by anyone with access to your phone
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your mobile device
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these SMS Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page. Your continued participation in our SMS program after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
